Terms & conditions

Promoter: TL Kicking CLG (trading as Leader Kicking), Church Avenue, Tuam Road, Castlegar, Co. Galway, Ireland · darragh@leaderkicking.com

  1. Eligibility. Entry is free and open to residents of the island of Ireland aged 18 or over at the time of entry. Employees, officers and contractors of the Promoter, of Leader Kicking, and of the competition's partners and sponsors, and their immediate families, are not eligible to enter.
  2. How to enter. Complete the entry form on this page. You must (a) select which athlete you believe will kick the furthest during the half-time exhibition at the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, Aviva Stadium, on 29 August 2026, and (b) state the exact distance in yards you believe that kick will travel. Both answers are required for a valid entry. One entry per person. Entries submitted by agents, in bulk, or by automated means will be disqualified.
  3. Closing time. Entries close prior to the first kick on 29 August 2026. Entries received after that point will not be considered.
  4. Game of skill. This is a competition of skill and judgement, not a lottery. No element of chance determines the outcome: the winner is decided by the accuracy of the prediction and, where necessary, the accuracy of the tiebreak answer.
  5. Judging. The winner is the eligible entrant who correctly identifies the athlete who records the longest kick and whose stated distance is closest to the actual distance of that kick without exceeding it. If no entrant meets that standard, the prize goes to the entrant whose stated distance is closest to the longest kick recorded, without exceeding it. If entries remain tied after that, the earliest valid entry received wins. Kick distances are as measured and recorded by the Promoter's officials on the day, and that measurement is final.
  6. Prize. One winner receives one airline gift card to the value of €1,500. There is no cash alternative, the prize is non-transferable, and it may not be exchanged for any other item. The gift card is subject to the issuer's own terms, conditions and expiry date. Flights, travel arrangements, accommodation, insurance, transfers, spending money, visas and any applicable taxes are the winner's responsibility.
  7. Notification and claim. The winner will be contacted using the details supplied with their entry within [7] days of the event. If the winner cannot be reached, or does not claim the prize, within [14] days of first contact being attempted, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize and select the next closest eligible entrant.
  8. Publicity. The winner may be asked to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the competition, and consents to their name and county being published once the competition closes. The winner's name and county are available for one month after the event by emailing the Promoter.
  9. Your information. Entry details are collected and used by the Promoter solely to run this competition and to contact the winner. They are handled in line with the privacy notice published on roadtoryanfield.com. Entry data is not sold, and is deleted once the competition is closed out and any legal retention period has passed.
  10. Independence. This competition is run by the Promoter. It is not sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with the Aer Lingus College Football Classic, Aviva Stadium, the participating universities, or any social media or technology platform used to host the entry form.
  11. General. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify any entry it reasonably believes to be fraudulent, duplicated or otherwise in breach of these terms, and to cancel, suspend or amend the competition where circumstances outside its reasonable control make that necessary. Entering means you accept these terms. These terms are governed by the laws of Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
